Wheel-thrown and altered jug made from a dark stoneware clay body, decorated with various slips, underglaze, and a black wash. Raw exterior, glazed interior. ∆6 oxidation.

While there is no cosmetic or structural issues with this piece, when in use, the pour from the spout does not meet a standard that I am happy with. This is due to the small narrowing of the spout which does not produce an adequately controlled flow. It is however still a very lovely and quirky piece and has a decent pour when filled at half capacity or less.
